We are now living on a blue planet that reflects just one-tenth of the natural abundance it once had. Life began on the ocean and life (for us) could end if we don't truly address climate change and the loss of biodiversity. We want to challenge possibilities with imagination and rewild the ocean together.
We believe we still have time to restore all we can and protect what is left.

Founded by former Rewilding Argentina's marine program team members and other marine experts, PEM was created aiming to provide more efforts and solutions to ocean conservation.

Por El Mar seeks to create and implement effective conservation strategies that protect and restore the ocean and our connectedness to it.

We research and design the best local solutions and legal tools to protect marine ecosystems and boost community resilience. We promote tangible changes from the ground up, led by communities, such as the creation of marine protected areas, the regulation of industries and the issuance of environmental protection laws, galvanizing action on a local level.
